Buy Once Give Twice is a new website set up to enable items from charity aucitions to be "re-donated".

Major charity auction events are elegant, extravagant, exciting occasions.  The lots – large and small – are luxurious, lavish and indulgent.  Sometimes they’re absolute one-offs. 

After the event some buyers can’t redeem their purchases.  Buy Once Give Twice gets buyers to re-donate such items and re-sells them, for charity, via the web.  Charities and corporate and individual supporters also donate new items to the site, direct.

In a nutshell, it’s a top-quality, full-time, online charity auction.  It’s great for buyers (there are some truly lovely things for sale), and it’s a really lucrative fund-raiser: for very little effort, charities take 90% of the price paid for any item.

We rely so much on the generosity of people in the industry and are regularly overwhelmed by this generosity - particularly when one of our events does involve an auction.  At this year's Big Bash we have some fabulous "money can't buy" items on offer.
