The Simultaneous Chess Challenge
Fancy yourself as a Grand Master?

Steve Barrett is not just the Editor of Media Week - he is also a top chess player and beat a Grand Master in the recent UK Championships! He has agreed to take on 20 opponents from across the industry in a simultaneous chess match.
This inaugural competition takes place on 16th October 2008 from 5.30pm - 9.00pm (approx.) and will be hosted by the IPA at 44 Belgrave Square. Not only will the event be great fun, it will give agencies and media owners a new battlefield to compete on whilst raising money for two deserving causes.
25% of the money raised will go to Young Minds (www.youngminds.org.uk), Steve’s nominated charity, with the remaining 75% going to NABS.
You will be playing against some of the sharpest brains in the industry – Nigel Jones (Draftfcb), Roy Jeans (IPM) and Steve Williams (OMD) have already signed up.
Your place can be secured with a donation of £500.
