Community Challenge
22nd - 30th November 2008
Challenge yourself in 2008 ... and raise money for NABS
JUST ONE PLACE LEFT ON THE TRIP - BOOK NOW TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT !!!
NABS is working with the charity Habitat for Humanity on a new event for November 2008. The Community Challenge is an opportunity for a group of volunteers from the communications world to spend a week in a developing world country, working together on a project to help a local family build a home. Individuals taking part in the challenge will be responsible for raising funds to cover their costs and also to sponsor their participation. The sponsorship money will be split equally between NABS and Habitat for Humanity.
NABS will be sending a group of 24 volunteers to Bangalore in India, flying out on Saturday 22nd and returning on Sunday 30th November. You will spend 5 days working on a project to build a house for a local family.
In order to secure that final place, you will need to pay the initial deposit of £320 immediately. You will then need to raise a further £2,500 in order to take part.

The team travelling out to India in November has representatives from across the communications industry, all of whom are working on raising that fundraising target, organising events within their own companies.
We are all extremely grateful to Denise Parkinson from Bauer Advertising. Denise is not only well on the way to reaching her fundraising target already, she has also donated some hard hats and fluorescent vests to Habitat for Humanity to send out to people working on their build projects across the developing world.
