Fast Forward 2008

NOW BOOKING - 50% of places already taken

Launched by Jeremy Bullmore in 1999, Fast Forward gives people with 2-5 years’ industry experience a unique opportunity to learn about integration from the very best.  The course has been over-subscribed almost every year – and with the Speakers already confirmed for 2008, we don’t think it will take long to sell out again.

This year’s course has been extended to seven evening sessions over an eight week period, so as to fully incorporate all sectors of the industry.  The 90 delegates will come from all of these sectors and be split into cross-discipline teams, working together on a challenging brief, to be set by a senior client from a high-profile brand.

Each session will take place at a different venue – hosted by high-profile, centrally based communications companies.  The course structure is as follows:

Session 1: Wednesday17th September 6.00pm
Introduction by Stephen Woodford (F/Forward Chairman & CEO DDB UK)
Anita Robinson, Brand Director for Smirnoff (Diageo) will set the brief

Session 2: Wednesday 24th September 6.00pm
Jeremy Bullmore (Communications)
Sir John Hegarty (Creativity)

Session 3: Wednesday 1st October 6.00pm
Russell Davies (Digital)
Christopher Satterthwaite (PR)

Session 4: Wednesday 8th October 6.00pm
Jon Steel (Advertising)
Christine Walker (Media Agency)

Session 5: Wednesday 15th October 6.00pm
Rupert Howell (Media Owner)
Rory Sutherland (DM)

Session 6: Tuesday 28th October 6.00pm
THE PITCH !!!

Session 7: Thursday 6th November 6.00pm
Judgement / Feedback & Awards

Each team will also work closely with dedicated Mentors, themselves key figures within their own organisations.  This year’s team includes:

Clive Baker, Head of Client Service, Nokia Interactive Advertising
Giles Davis, Brand Consultant, Branded
Neil Hughston, Consultant
Jaimes Leggett, MD, Grand Union
Kieron Matthews, Director of Marketing, IAB
Suzanne Morgan, Business Director, DDB London
Tish Mousell, Tish Mousell
Consulting
Matthew Tabb, MD, Wax Communications
Daniel Taylor, Business Director, DDB
London

The final pitch will be presented to our panel of Judges, chaired by new NABS President Stephen Woodford.  The full panel of Judges is:

John Bartle, Founder BBH and Joint Ex CEO, BBH
Kerry Glazer, CEO AAR
Ian Haworth,  Global Chief Creative Officer, WWAV Rapp Collins
Chris Lovell, Group CEO Golley Slater
John Tylee, Associate Editor, Campaign
Stephen Woodford, CEO DDB UK (Fast Forward Chairman & NABS President)

There is no limit to the number of delegates you send on the course – anybody with 2-5 years’ experience is eligible.  Your rising stars will give their careers a real boost and through their experience on Fast Forward, really add value to your organisation.

Places on the course are however limited and will be allocated on a “first come first served” basis.
