An Audience With Sir Martin Sorrell
Held at
The Imagination Gallery, Monday 22nd September 2008
NABS was proud to host the first in a series of events with the focus on our Patrons. This first event was an audience with Sir Martin Sorrell, held at the Imagination Gallery on Monday 22nd September 2008. During this exclusive event, BBC Media Correspondent Torin Douglas interviewed Sir Martin in front of an audience made up of Senior Managers from across the industry and future leaders, invited by their managers to come and hear Sir Martin.
During the evening, Sir Martin gave a fascinating insight into his career successes and his views on the industry today, including the inevitable question of how to survive in the current challenging economic climate. The interview was followed by a lively Q&A session and concluded with Sir Martin re-iterating the importance of supporting NABS and emphasising the important role the industry's charity will play as the economy fights to recover over the next 18 months to 2 years.
This evening marked the first event centred around our Patrons and the NABS team is currently working to secure another high-profile speaker for the next event, to be held in Spring 2009.
Full details of this event will be available on the NABS website as soon as they are available. In the meantime, if you would like to be kept updated as to future plans, please contact Penny Walshe on 020 7462 3150 or via e-mail to p.walshe@nabs.org.uk
