(includes BBQ lunch)
The NABS Rugby 7s Tournament celebrates its 48th year in 2010, making it the longest-standing event in our calendar. On the day, around 30 teams from across the communications industry compete to win the Champion's Trophy, with separate competitions to win a Plate and Bowl for the runners up of the group stages.
Every team is guaranteed at least 4 games. Games are 7 minutes each way with a minute for half-time, except the final for the Trophy, which is 10 minutes each way with 2 minutes for half-time. The day begins with league matches until around 3pm when the knock-out rounds begin for the Trophy, Plate and Bowl competitions.
The event also has plenty to do for supporters - with the option of cheering on your colleagues from the stands or from the privacy of your own marquee, which can be hired at an additional cost.
We will also have a Family Area with a bouncy castle, games and costume characters to entertain the children. When the tournament's over, head for the club bar for our after-party to celebrate victory or drown sorrows accompanied by our popular karaoke.
Refreshments are available from midday from the bar and barbecue.
Costs:
Team entry - £1,200
Team entry + marquee - £1,800
Marquee only - £800
Admission for Supporters - £5 (free for children under 12)
You can download a booking form here.
