The Peterhouse Day Care Centre

Opened in the summer of 2008, the Peterhouse Day Care Centre is attached to the complex’s well-established residential care wing and independent housing.  The centre is used for a variety of respite needs, whether it is half a day each week or several days at a time, which can be linked to an overnight stay at Peterhouse.

 

The centre offers a wide range of activities and life skills including day support, assisted bathing/showering, social support and personal development.

 

Leisure activities include gardening, cookery, photography, computer training, creative arts, counselling and alternative therapies (available upon request at an additional cost). 

 

Visitors to the Day Centre can take part in any of the activities available or just take the time to relax in comfortable and friendly surroundings.  Refreshments are available on arrival and throughout the day with a freshly cooked 2-course lunch on offer each day.  Transport can be provided to and from the centre from within the Bexhill area at a small cost.
