The East Wing

The “East Wing” is a purpose-built care facility, which is registered with the local Commission for Quality Care (CQC).  It offers residential, nursing and social care to 35 residents. 

 

There is accommodation for 10 ‘Residential’ residents who receive ‘hotel-style’ care – with meals, laundry, cleaning and some assistance with daily living provided.  The East wing is also home to 26 ‘Nursing’ residents, whose level of care is graded according to need.

 

Anybody over the age of 55 is eligible to apply.  Unlike the criteria for the sheltered housing, residents do not need to have links to the marketing communications industry.

 

If rooms are available, respite care can be offered on a short-term basis, for a period of convalescence or to provide a holiday break.
